About Motorcycle Holiday

We built this because we couldn't find it.

We're Ben and Tom. We've been riding together since we were teenagers and building software for a living since our twenties. MCH is what happens when those two things finally meet.

01 / The beginning

We met at 15. We've been riding ever since.

Not the usual founder story. No whiteboard moment, no pivot deck.

We met as kids, got our first bikes at 17 and 18, and spent the next decade-and-a-bit doing what most riders do — chasing corners, chasing each other, and very occasionally chasing the right exit off the M25.

Somewhere in there we ended up in the same design agency, building products for companies like Sky and The Ivy. A few hundred projects later, we figured out we were quietly good at this tech thing. We just liked bikes more.

02 / The arc

Sportsbikes, then enduro, then further.

In our twenties, it was all sportsbikes. Ben was part of a BSB team and spent more weekends at tracks than most people spend at the pub. Tom did the same, minus the number on the fairing.

Then the roads got busier, the speed limits got stricter, and the fun got harder to reach. So we went off it. Enduro first — Beta 390s, green lanes, mud up to the headlight. Then adventure bikes, because we wanted to see more of the world and less of the blur.

Ben's on a Tenere 700 now. Tom's on an F 900 GS. Both of us still have the Betas, because you never really grow out of falling off for fun.

03 / Why we're doing this

The platform we wish had existed.

Every time we posted a photo from a trip, the DMs said the same two things: where did you go? and who did you go with?

The honest answer was: “I spent three weekends trawling Google, a forum from 2014, and a Facebook page I wasn't sure was still being run by a real person.”

The operators are out there. They're brilliant. They know roads you'd never find on a map. But most of them are bike people, not tech people — so their websites look a decade old and riders quietly click away, assuming they're not legit.

They are. We've been on their trips. We've seen the difference. So we're doing what we know how to do: building the thing that puts them on the map.

You built the tours.

We'll bring the riders.

You didn't start this business to sit behind a screen chasing bookings. You started it because the road changed your life — and you wanted to share that with others.

Let us handle the rest.

04 / What we handle

The boring bits. So you can do the good bits.

Bookings
A real checkout, real payments, and riders who arrive ready to ride.
Insurance
Cover on the trip, cover on the deposit, cover if life gets in the way.
Guarantees
Riders trust us. That trust transfers to you the moment they book.
Reach
A platform built for riders searching specifically for what you offer.
Tech, done properly
Between us we've shipped a few hundred products. We happen to care about this one more than the rest.

05 / The two of us

The two of us.

Portrait of Ben on a beach with mountain backdrop

Ben

Design Director by day. Designer at heart.

Spent his twenties tracking sportsbikes for a BSB team until work quietly won that argument.

Has opinions about typography and tyre pressure, in that order.

Tom

Product Director. Strategy brain.

The one who asks “but why would someone actually use this?” — a question he's made a career out of.

Has logged more hours in standups than most people have in the saddle, which is part of the reason MCH exists.

Your tours deserve a proper home.

We're two guys stuck in the tech business, trying to live life through the thing we love most. We're using what we're good at to help the people already doing what we wish we could do full-time.

If you run tours, we'd like to meet you.
